Captain Paul Ruzycki, Canadian founder of Polar Navigational Services, hopes to contribute to the safe navigation in these areas by using and sharing his many years of experience & knowledge sailing on ice infested waters.
Captain Paul Ruzycki is a Master Mariner with over 40 years at sea, a recognised Ice Navigator Level 2 with the Nautical Institute, Transport Canada -CoP ” in Advanced Training for Personnel on Ships Operating in Polar Waters” Regulation- STCW-V 4 2- Training certificate Issued by the Kingdom of the Netherlands. As well as an Associate Fellow with the Nautical Institute.
Having sailed every ocean and most of the world’s major seas, serving on
commercial & Research vessels sailing to the Canadian Arctic, tug boats plying the Great
Lakes and multiple voyages to the Polar Regions ( High Arctic & Antarctic ) serving as Captain / Ice Navigator & 1st Officer on International NGO vessels to act as a platform for hosting International scientists & their research teams.
Polar Navigational Services aims to provide safe navigation in the Polar Regions, as maritime traffic increases.
